On Sunday, the iconic Napier Bridge came alive as more than 6,500 enthusiastic runners took part in the Dream Runners Half Marathon, organised by one of the city’s popular running groups. Held in two categories — Half-marathon and 10K — the event brought together not only Chennai’s vibrant running community but also people from various walks of life, united by their passion for fitness and endurance. After crossing the finish line, elated participants shared their stories of grit, posed proudly with their medals, lined up for a hearty breakfast and joined in cheering for the winners across categories. The marathon was a true celebration of determination, perseverance, and community spirit.
