Patna: District administration has banned private boat operations in the Ganga from March 22-25 during the Chaiti Chhath festival. The administration has deployed magistrates, police force, SDRF, and NDRF teams at river ghats. Eight SDRF units equipped with motorboats and divers will conduct river patrolling. Surveillance involves CCTV cameras and drones. Zonal officers must provide life jackets and nets at all water bodies. Authorities will prosecute violators.
