Hazaribag: A 45-year-old woman was killed after a speeding truck struck a bicycle near Barsot Chowk under Barhi police station limits of the district.The deceased Rekha Devi was travelling on the bicycle with her husband Indradev Mahto, a farmer, to Kariyatpur Neeche Bazaar to sell vegetables. The couple was a resident of Barsot village. Rekha was killed on the spot while Indradev escaped unhurt. “The truck driver was taken into custody,” Binod Kumar, the officer-in-charge of Barhi police station, said.
