Hyderabad: Eying on the huge revenue, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has put prime lands in Neopolis layout and Golden Mile layout in Kokapet for auction again. While ₹120 crore per acre is the upset price in Neopolis, ₹70 crore is the minimum bidding price for Golden mile layout.The metropolitan authority had conducted land auction in Neopolis in Dec 2025, which fetched ₹1,000 crore. In the previous auction, the HMDA got ₹131 crore per acre for one land parcel and another land parcel was sold at ₹118 crore per acre. Earlier, in three auctions in various phases, the HMDA got about ₹3,708 crore.Taking the earlier highest bid amount, the authority fixed ₹120 crore as upset price. The highest amount the HMDA got in earlier auctions was ₹151 crore.Apart from these two layouts, the metropolitan authority has put various land parcels in residential layouts in Hydernagar near Kukatpally, Mokila, Bachupally, Inmul Narva layout near Kothur and stray land bits in Bairagiguda in Gandipet mandal, Chandanagar, Suraram, Kapri, Kistareddipet and Saroornagar areas.The HMDA said the land auctions will be held from Aug 24 to Sept 9. Neopolis and Golden Mile layout land parcels admeasuring 4.59 acres and 0.70 acres will be held on Sept 9, officials said.In Mokila layout, for plots measuring 300 sq yards to 500 sq yards, the minimum amount fixed was ₹55,000 per sq yard and ₹45,000 per sq yard for Bachupally layout. For 2,420 sq yards land parcel, the HMDA has fixed upset price at ₹75,000 and ₹55,000 per sq yard in Suraram where one land parcel of 4,840 sq yards has been put for the auction.
