Patna: Patliputra University (PPU) has declared the results of its postgraduate (PG) semester II examinations on time, with students from all regular arts , science and commerce streams registering high pass percentage.According to PPU examination controller Manoj Kumar, students from the science stream recorded a 97% pass percentage in the PG semester II examinations while the pass percentage stood at 96% in arts and 98% in commerce stream. Similarly in the undergraduate (UG) examinations of the 2025-29 academic session, students of the science stream achieved a pass percentage of 94.02% while arts students registered 92.06% and commerce students 95% success, he said adding the results have been uploaded on the university official website for students to access their results conveniently.The timely publication of results has drawn appreciation from the university administration. Vice-chancellor Upendra Prasad Singh lauded the examination department for adhering to the fixed schedule for conducting examinations and declaring results within the stipulated timeline.Maintaining the examination calendar and ensuring timely declaration of results remains a key priority of the university. Kumar said the examination department also completed the Master of Library Science (MLIS) and Bachelor of Library Science (BLIS) examinations within a fortnight to ensure the academic schedule was not affected. He added that such initiatives help students pursue higher studies and career opportunities without delays caused by pending examinations or results.The university has also set the timeline to publish the results of the UG regular Semester IV examinations for the 2024–28 academic session by the end of July. Kumar said centralised evaluation of answer books is currently underway at designated centres in Patna.
