Hyderabad: Revenue and housing minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Wednesday said all those seeking LIG Indiramma Indlu in the CURE area should submit applications through Mee Seva.“Even those who had applied earlier should file fresh applications now. Owning a house is a matter of dignity and self-respect. The Congress govt is making the dream a reality for the poor even in Greater Hyderabad, where land prices are extremely high. The previous BRS govt took people for a ride with the promise of a double-bedroom house to every poor family,” he alleged.Speaking to reporters at Gandhi Bhavan after attending face to face programme, the minister said the Congress has resumed holding weekly face to face interactions with the public, unlike the previous regime, which he alleged had not provided people an opportunity to voice their grievances.He also said officials had been directed to resolve public grievances without delay. The Congress govt has sanctioned 7.5 lakh Indiramma Indlu including one lakh LIG flats in the CURE area and remaining in the towns and rural areas.
