Jaipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ajmer on Feb 28 to lay foundation stones and inaugurate multiple projects worth Rs 23,500 crore across the state. Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma posted on X that the Prime Minister will dedicate and launch a range of infrastructure and development projects aimed at accelerating economic growth and strengthening public services in Rajasthan.During the PM’s visit, a “Rozgar Utsav” (Employment Festival) will also be organised, where appointment letters will be handed over to 21,000 youth, providing them with new employment opportunities. Sharing details of the programme, Sharma said the PM’s presence in Ajmer would mark a significant step towards fulfilling the vision of a “Viksit Rajasthan.”“It is a matter of pride that the world’s most popular leader, the PM, will gift development works worth Rs 23,500 crore to the state from the sacred land of Ajmer,” a senior functionary said. Officials added that the large-scale projects and employment drive are expected to give fresh momentum to the state’s development trajectory and boost confidence among the youth.The PM’s visit is expected to draw large participation, with preparations underway in Ajmer for what is being described as a major development and employment-focused event.
