Prayagraj: A 38-year-old labourer was killed and another sustained injuries after a portion of an old building collapsed in South Malaka area under limits of Kotwali police station on Tuesday.DCP (City) Maneesh Shandilya told TOI that around 3:30pm a portion of an old building, adjacent to an under-construction house, collapsed leaving two labourers trapped under the debris. Upon being alerted, police along with the fire department arrived and carried out rescue operations. Police rescued two labourers and brought them to hospital for treatment. However, one of them, identified as Vinod of Mirzapur, succumbed.tnn
