Ranchi: Four children from Pakur district were rescued from a bakery in Raiganj under North Dinajpur of West Bengal, a statement by the Pakur district administration said on Monday.Acting on a tip-off provided by the Ranchi-based Child Rights Foundation in August, the Pakur district administration and West Bengal authorities carried out a joint operation and rescued the minors. The Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of North Dinajpur completed the required legal formalities. Thereafter, the minors were presented before the Pakur CWC, which conducted counselling sessions and reunited them with their families on Monday, the statement read.
