Bhagalpur: A 45-year-old man died and six others were injured when the three-wheeler in which they were travelling overturned while saving a puppy near Tilaiya village on Katoria-Deoghar road under Katoria police station area in Banka district on Monday.The deceased was identified as Raju Sah, who along with his wife Nitu Devi, son Luv Kumar aka Dilkhush Kumar (6), and other relatives were travelling in the ill-fated vehicle. They were residents of Dhusmuri Bishanpur village on the borders of Begusarai-Khagaria districts under Sahabpur Kamal police station area in Begusarai district. They were on their way to Deoghar (Jharkhand) for the mundan (tonsuring) ceremony.The injured people have been identified as Baby Devi (35), sister of the deceased; Geeta Devi (55), Rekha Devi (40) and Tetri Devi, said an official.Station house officer, Katoria PS, Arvind Rai, said the body was sent to Banka Sadar Hospital for a postmortem. The injured people are being provided medical treatment, he added.
