Kanpur: A 34-year-old married woman has gone missing under mysterious circumstances from Ahir Tola locality of Jaswantnagar town, prompting her husband to approach the police.In a complaint lodged at Jaswantnagar Kotwali, Saurabh Prajapati alleged that his wife left home around 11am on June 20, telling family members that she was going to purchase medicines. However, she did not return. Later, family members launched a search operation but in vain.In his complaint, Saurabh alleged that his wife took with her gold and silver jewellery and around Rs 80,000 cash kept at home. He stated that she left behind their four children.Saurabh works as a daily wage labourer. Police said all aspects of the case are being examined and efforts are underway to locate the missing woman. The Jaswantnagar Police said appropriate action will be taken as the investigation progresses.
