Prayagraj: Around 60 faculty members from various departments of Motilal Nehru Medical College (MLNMC) participated in a faculty development workshop on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in health research organised by the college’s Multidisciplinary Research Unit (MRU) on Saturday. The workshop was organised under the guidance of MLNMC principal Dr AK Verma, who highlighted the growing role of AI in medical research. He said responsible and effective use of AI could help make research work more efficient and improve its overall quality.The keynote speaker, Dr DK Nim, explained how AI tools could assist researchers at various stages of their work, from gathering scientific literature and developing research protocols to writing scientific articles and analysing data. He also demonstrated how AI could be used to prepare research papers, grant proposals and professional presentations more efficiently.During the session, faculty members were introduced to various AI-based tools through live demonstrations, enabling them to understand their practical applications in research.
