Vijayapura: A woman, who went missing since Feb 2 after which her parents filed a case at women’s police station here, has taken a turn with she appearing at the station on Monday night. The woman asserted that she is married to a man from another religion. As she went back with her husband, the parents alleged that the man and his parents have brainwashed the former. Police said the woman was in a relationship with a man from another religion. “Parents had filed a missing complaint on Feb 2. She voluntarily visited the station and said she is married to the man on her will, and that she wants to live with him. Since both the woman and the man are majors, we tried to convince the parents,” they added. The woman’s mother even stopped the police vehicle for a while, requesting that they get their daughter back. However, police helped the couple move away from the station.
