Jharsuguda: The blood-stained body of a 39-year-old man was found by the roadside in Muchbahal area under Belpahar police station limits on Friday. Police suspect it to be a murder.The deceased was identified as Srujan Kumar, 39, of Gumla village in Jharkhand. He had been living in Muchbahal for around 20 years and worked as a driver with a private company operating in Lakhanpur coal mining area.Locals spotted the body lying on the road in front of the Urban Primary Health Centre on Friday morning and alerted Belpahar police. A scientific team was also engaged to examine the spot. Police said the motive and the identity of those involved are yet to be ascertained.SDPO (Brajrajnagar) Chintamani Pradhan said, “The exact cause of death will be known after we get the post-mortem report.”
