Bengaluru: Police launched a manhunt for a man after he allegedly strangled his wife to death inside a hotel room at Doddaballapur.A Vidya, 23, had been married to private company employee Anand with a two-and-a-half-year-old son. The boy lives with Vidya’s parents in Gauribidanur.“The couple lived in Gandhinagar, Doddaballapur town. Due to frequent fights, Vidya had distanced herself from Anand. Working at a private company, she lived in a PG in Bengaluru and visited her son and parents during weekends. Meanwhile, Anand convinced her to live with him again and took her to the lodge Wednesday. By night, he strangled her and ran away with her mobile phone,” police said.
