Kanpur: Police on Wednesday arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl on the pretext of marriage in the Panki police station area and sent him to jail.The girl, a resident of the Panki police station area, lived with her parents. In her complaint to police, she said that a few days ago, she became acquainted with Pawan alias Raman Agnihotri, a resident of Rasulabad, Kanpur Dehat. She claimed that Pawan raped her on the pretext of marriage.
