Prayagraj: A joint team of Ghurpur police and surveillance cell on Sunday arrested a man identified as Kanhaiyalal Paswan alias Kandhai (38) of Sarangapur on the charges of killing his neighbour. Police said that the accused had killed Rahul Bharatiya (21) following an old enmity.The accused told police that two of the villagemen including Rahul Bharatiya and Virendra Bharatiya used to scold him without any reason. They had assaulted him in August last year and since then, he stopped talking to Rahul Bharatiya.On August 28, Rahul Bharatiya once again intercepted and insulted him. He then decided to murder Rahul and attacked him with a hammer when he was sleeping at his house on same night.
