Vadodara: The crime branch arrested a 55-year-old man nearly two decades after he allegedly kidnapped a minor girl and fled the city.Police said a case was registered against the accused, Firozkhan Pathan from Maharashtra, at Makarpura police station in 2006 for allegedly luring a minor girl on the pretext of marriage.Officials said police had been trying to trace Pathan for the past three months and recently received information that he was living in Vasai. A team was deployed to keep watch in the area where he was working as a security guard.Police personnel sometimes posed as delivery boys and drivers to closely monitor his movements before finally nabbing him, officials said.
