Palanpur: The Banaskantha Special Operations Group (SOG) on Thursday arrested a man for allegedly cultivating ganja in a field while disguising himself as a monk to evade suspicion.Acting on specific information, the SOG team led by Inspector H.P. Garasia raided a field in Kunol (Lalpur) village under the Isri police station limits and seized 83 ganja plants.Officials said the accused, identified as Raju Nathbava, had been posing as a monk to avoid attracting attention.The plants were detected using a drone during the operation. Raju was arrested and booked under the NDPS Act at the Isri police station.
