Prayagraj: A joint team of Kareli police and Special Operation Group (SOG) arrested a man and his accomplice, on Thursday, for alleged involvement in a loot case near Karamat Ki Chowki area on June 21.Police said that the arrested man, Rajendra Bharatiya, 24, with the help of Shamsher alias Tractor, 20, allegedly looted Rs 44,000 cash from his cousin Mithlesh Kumar when he was going to Maheva bazaar with his brother on June 21 morning.Police have seized cash worth Rs 13,700, a bike and a mobile from their possession.Shamsher has three cases registered against him in different police stations in the city, police said.
