Ranchi: The district administration seized close to a dozen LPG cylinders from two houses in Harihar Singh Road under Bariatu police station limits on Saturday. Based on the complaint of an official Rajesh Kerketta, an FIR has been lodged with the local police station under the relevant sections of Essential Commodities Act. The complainant stated that acting on a tip a team raided a house and seized two empty cylinders of five kilograms each and a broken empty cylinder. In a similar operation at another house the team seized seven empty and two filled cylinders, five small cylinders, regulator for refilling gas and pipes from the spot. .
