Rajkot: A five-year-old girl was injured by a leopard at Pithvajal village, about 10km from Amreli town, on Monday.The child, Purvi Chotubhai, is the daughter of a farm labourer. She was playing on the farm near her home when a leopard suddenly attacked her in broad daylight.On hearing her screams, villagers rushed to the spot. The leopard fled as people gathered.Purvi was rushed to hospital. Doctors said her condition is stable.
