Lucknow: A 21-acre urban park will be developed in CG City by Nov, while a ₹38.47 crore multi-level parking facility proposed behind Palassio Mall is expected to ease traffic congestion around Ekana Cricket Stadium during international matches and weekend rush.After reviewing the projects on Saturday, LDA vice-chairperson Prathamesh Kumar said, “Our focus is to ensure that all development projects are completed on time and provide quality public infrastructure.”The urban park, being developed at a cost of ₹20 crore, will feature an open-air theatre, food court, library, sports arena, landscaped gardens, water bodies, walking tracks and public toilets. Kumar directed officials to complete the project and open it to the public by Nov 2026.

The multi-level parking will come up on a 7,635.8 sq m plot. Parking space will be created in the lower and upper basements, while an additional 3,900 sq m parking area will come up on the top level. The facility will accommodate 458 two-wheelers and 350 four-wheelers.Officials said the parking facility would help manage traffic around Ekana Stadium and Palassio Mall during periods of heavy footfall.
