The driver alleged that the same man had boarded the bus earlier that morning around 8.15am and was asked to get off after allegedly misbehaving with another woman passenger. “He appears to be a habitual offender who targets women travelling in relatively empty buses. My colleagues also told me he had travelled on their buses. He buys a daily pass and sits in the seat reserved for senior citizens or persons with disabilities, which is close to the women’s seats,” Praveen said.A video clip of the confrontation, recorded by passengers, has since gone viral on social media, with many users demanding immediate action against the accused. Some, however, claimed the man appeared mentally unstable and said the woman should have let him go.
