Times News NetworkKanpur: A delegation of the Adhivakta Kalyan Sangharsh Samiti met district administration officials on Wednesday and demanded that advocates and their family members be included in the Cashless Treatment Scheme.Samiti convener Ravindra Sharma said that advocates had been struggling for the implementation of a cashless treatment facility for themselves and their families. He said that a delegation had met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on December 26, 2025, and raised the issue. The chief minister had taken the matter seriously and later announced the scheme in Gorakhpur, but it has not yet been implemented.Sharma said advocates and their family members are being deprived of cashless medical treatment in the absence of the scheme. He demanded that the state government implement its announcement and extend the facility to advocates and their parents, wives and children.The delegation submitted a memorandum to the ADM (Civil Supplies). The ADM assured the delegation that the memorandum would be forwarded to the state government immediately for necessary action.
