Mumbai: A male passenger sustained minor injuries after debris from a landslide entered a coach of a local train while it was entering Kasara station on Monday night.The incident took place around 9:30 pm when the Kasara train was pulling into platform 4. According to the train manager’s report, debris triggered by a landslip entered one of the coaches. One male passenger was injured and given first aid by the station’s officials.Railway officials said the engineering team inspected the site and declared the track safe for movement at 9:35 pm. “There was no major disruption to train services,” a Central Railway official said.The incident occurred amid heavy rainfall in the region. Rail officials are monitoring vulnerable stretches closely as part of monsoon preparedness.
