Prayagraj: The two-day regional level ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ (EBSB) and Kala Utsav Competition-2026, hosted by Kendriya Vidyalaya, Air Force Station Manauri, concluded on Friday with students from across Varanasi region showcasing their talent in a wide range of cultural, literary and visual arts events.The programme brought together participants from five clusters of Kendriya Vidyalayas of Varanasi region—Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, New Cantt, Bamrauli and BLW Varanasi—to celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage and the spirit of unity in diversity.The inaugural ceremony was attended by Air Commodore Ajay Rana, VSM, of Air Force Station Manauri, who was the chief guest. Hema Rana, president of AFFWA (L), 24 ED, attended as the guest of honour, while former Allahabad University professor and former vice-chancellor of Raja Mansingh Tomar Music and Arts University, Sahitya Kumar Nahar, was the special guest.Addressing the gathering, Air Commodore Rana said that India’s greatest strength lies in its cultural diversity and urged students to continue promoting the ideals of unity and mutual respect.
