Madikeri: Kodagu district secured the eighth position in the SSLC examination results this year, recording a pass percentage of 96.5%.Girls posted a higher success rate at 97.4%, while boys achieved 95.5%. Of the 5,948 students who appeared for the exams, 5,742 cleared them.Lincy Dechamma TT of St. Joseph High School, Madikeri, and Sinchana KI of Shanthinikethan High School, Kodagarahalli, emerged as the district toppers, scoring 621 out of 625.Dean Salvo D’souza of St. Anne’s School, Virajpet, secured the third position with 620 marks. Shivani Sharada Mani of Vishwamanava Kuvempu High School, Somwarpet, followed with 619 marks.US Shrivatsa of Virajpet Kaveri High School and Siddhant Kaverappa NT of Lions High School, Kalathmadu, Gonikoppal, also scored 619 marks each.
