Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Sunday called upon the people to compare his governance with that of former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, and said the Congress was delivering “social justice” whereas, he claimed, KCR had dispensed “family justice”, benefitting his family members.Addressing public meetings in the Mulugu and Parkal assembly constituencies, Revanth Reddy launched a stinging attack against KCR and his family members, including KT Rama Rao, T Harish Rao and Santosh Kumar.“Then, it was family justice; now, it is social justice,” Revanth said, adding that Congress govt’s ‘praja palana’ (people’s rule) was intended to benefit all sections of society, mainly farmers, women, youth, the unemployed and the poor.The CM said the assembly sessions would be held in Sept and threw a challenge at KCR, KTR and Harish Rao for a debate on social justice, welfare and development during 32 months of the Congress govt and the nearly 10-year BRS regime.“When KCR became the CM, he appointed his son KTR and son-in-law Harish as ministers. But upon becoming chief minister, I appointed D Seethakka (ST) and Konda Surekha (BC) as ministers. KCR gave a ministerial post to Errabelli Dayakar Rao, while I gave ministerial posts to Adluri Laxman Kumar (SC) and Mohammed Azharuddin (minority). KCR made his daughter an MP and when she lost the poll, he made her an MLC, but I facilitated Kavya (SC) becoming an MP and Yashaswini Reddy becoming an MLA,” Revanth said.Revanth further said KCR made his brother-in-law’s son, Santosh an MP, whereas he gave a Rajya Sabha seat to his friend Vem Narender Reddy. “KCR appointed Vinod Rao as the vice-chairperson of the Planning Commission, but I gave the MLC post to JAC leader M Kodandaram. KCR appointed his son KTR as working president, but I appointed Mahesh Goud (BC) as the PCC president. KCR’s tenure as the CM benefited only his family, but a Congress govt works for social justice and welfare,” he claimed.Taking a dig at KTR, Revanth said while he was treating Seethakka as his sister and taking care of her although “there is no blood relation” between them, the BRS working president, on the other hand, had driven away his own sister, K Kavitha, out of the house to avoid distribution of properties.“How can such a family do good to the people of the state when they had meted out injustice to a woman member of their own family,” Revanth stated.He also indirectly attacked T Harish Rao without naming him, alleging him to be “Aghora Rao.” Revanth accused him of performing occult rituals and ‘Kshudra’ pujas seeking that people of the state should suffer from all types of problems, resulting in the ouster of the Congress govt. He said his govt was moving forward with a concrete plan for the farmers, women, the poor and the unemployed and asserted that as long as he had the people’s blessings, even a thousand KCRs could not harm him.
