Jaipur: The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) Monday approved administrative and financial sanctions for development works worth over Rs 575 crore at its 10th Project Works Committee (PWC) meeting.The biggest allocation of Rs 250.85 crore was approved for a revised proposal to construct an elevated road from the Triveni Nagar ROB on Gopalpura Bypass to near Gujjar Ki Thadi.Another Rs 176.22 crore was sanctioned for stormwater drains from the NH bypass on Kalwar Road to Bandi river and along Niwai Road in Zone 12.The JDA also approved Rs 58.36 crore for drainage works in Benad Road, Murlipura, Jhotwara Industrial Area, Niwai Road and adjoining areas.A sum of Rs 42.22 crore was sanctioned for a MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) centre in Vidyadhar Nagar.Other approvals included Rs 26.32 crore for the holistic development of Shipra Path in Mansarovar, Rs 8.53 crore for a sector road from CK Birla Hospital on Durgapura Road to Sanskrit University in Triveni Nagar, Rs 6.37 crore for a food arena at Ram Niwas Bagh and Rs 6.33 crore for footpath development on major roads in Zone C2.
