Jaipur: Praveen Gupta, the newly appointed chairman of the Rajasthan State Sports Council and a senior IAS officer, was warmly welcomed by the officials of the Jaipur District Badminton Association (JDBA). On this occasion, JDBA president Anil Mehta, secretary Manoj Dasot, and treasurer Atul Gupta presented him with a bouquet of flowers.Association officials congratulated Praveen Gupta on his new responsibility and expressed hope that under his leadership, sports in the state will gain new direction and momentum. It is noteworthy that Praveen Gupta himself is an excellent badminton player and has been regularly involved in the sport for a long time.According to the JDBA officials, Praveen Gupta plays badminton regularly at the SMS Indoor Stadium in the evening hours.
