Bhilwara: Three people died and one injured when in a head-on collision between two motorcycles on the Bhilwara-Tonk National Highway 148D near Nathun village under Jahajpur police station area of Bhilwara district Sunday.The deceased have been identified as Jitendra Meghvanshi (35), Narendra Meghvanshi (36), and Vishal (19).According to the police, Jitendra and Narendra, were travelling together on a motorcycle from their home to Shakargarh town in connection with some work. At the same time, Vishal along with his Rahul were travelling together on a motorcycle from their village Jojhar to Jahajpur to appear for the Rajasthan State Certificate in Information Technology exam.Shahpura ASP Rajesh Arya said Jitendra and Narendra’s motorcycle was overtaking a trailer when it collided head-on with the other bike coming from the opposite direction. The impact of the crash was so severe that three people died on the spot.Vishal’s friend, Rahul (18), who was riding with him on the same motorcycle, sustained serious injuries and was admitted to Jahajpur hospital for treatment.Arya said that as soon as he received information about the incident, he along with Shahpura ADM Prakash Chandra reached the spot and inspected the accident site. Police shifted the bodies to the hospital for post-mortem and later handed them over to the respective families.
