Hyderabad: A 17-year-old Intermediate student died by suicide in Keesara on Thursday after reportedly becoming upset that he could not perform well in one of the ongoing Intermediate public examinations.Police identified the boy as N Gautham Reddy, a first year student. He was alone at home at the time of the incident as his parents had gone to work. The teenager had been preparing for the upcoming exams. According to police, his mother tried to contact him over the phone on Thursday afternoon, but he did not respond to the repeated calls. She then alerted neighbours.
