Vadodara: Laxmipura police on Tuesday paraded a history-sheeter in the Gotri area after arresting him for allegedly harassing a young woman and assaulting her pregnant sister.The incident occurred on Monday night when the two were on their way home. The accused, Yash Vasava (24) alias Lassi, allegedly accosted them and pressured the girl to enter into a relationship. When she refused and her sister confronted him over the harassment, Vasava allegedly kicked the pregnant woman and fled.The victim told police that Vasava had been harassing and threatening her for the past two-and-a-half months.Police said Vasava has over 17 offences registered against him, including criminal intimidation, assault and cases under the Prohibition Act.
