Vadodara: Violence erupted between two groups of the same community in Padamla village on the outskirts of the city late Monday night. Chhani police have registered a case of rioting and attempt to murder against both sides and arrested 16 persons.According to police, the dispute began on March 23 when Rakesh Parmar and Pruthvi Jadav, both residents of Padamla, got into an argument while overtaking each other on their motorcycles. The issue resurfaced on Monday night, leading to another confrontation between the two.As tempers flared, members from both sides gathered and the argument escalated into a violent clash, with groups pelting stones at each other. Tension gripped the village, prompting locals to alert the police.Police rushed to the spot and controlled the situation. Eleven persons, including key accused, are on the run.
