Vadodara: A man accused under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocos) Act escaped from police custody at the district court premises on Monday.The accused, Dinesh Rokade, a resident of Sayajigunj, was booked by police in 2020 and had been lodged in jail. He was brought to the court in Diwalipura on Monday for a hearing. According to police, Rokade told the escorting personnel that he wanted to use the bathroom. He then distracted them and fled. Police have launched a manhunt for Rokade.
