Hazaribag: A 27-year-old woman was arrested after police recovered 5.1kg of ganja from her house during a raid. The accused Baby Devi, a resident of Chauthi village under Chouparan police station limits, has a narcotics case registered against her at Hatia railway police station in Ranchi, police said on Thursday.A team led by Barhi sub-divisional police officer Radha Prem Kishore raided Baby’s house late Wednesday based on a tip-off. Five packets of ganja, weighing 5.1kg in total, were recovered from a trolley on the premises. She was arrested on the spot.“A fresh FIR has been lodged under relevant sections of the NDPS Act at Chouparan police station, and further investigation is underway,” Kishore said.
