Vadodara: In an effort to encourage students to look beyond academic achievements and focus on emotional well-being, the faculty of commerce at Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) will host a guest lecture titled ‘Unlocking Happiness’ on Wednesday.Organised by the department of commerce and business management, the session will be held from 11am to noon at the BBA auditorium.Eminent speaker Just Win Singh will interact with students and faculty members on the importance of happiness, positive thinking and developing a constructive approach to life.“The objective is to complement academic learning with perspectives that help students develop as individuals and navigate the challenges of contemporary life,“ said Pragnesh Shah, dean of the faculty of commerce.The interactive session will explore factors that contribute to a meaningful and fulfilling life, including maintaining a positive outlook, cultivating inner well-being and finding happiness while dealing with academic, professional and personal challenges.The lecture is expected to draw students and faculty members and is part of the commerce department’s efforts to promote holistic learning and personality development alongside formal education.
