times News NetworkKanpur: A grand Tiranga Yatra-2026 and bike rally was taken out by the Police Commissionerate in Kanpur on Friday. About 300 police officers and personnel participated, and Police Commissioner Raghubir Lal flagged off the yatra from Reserve Police Line.The Police Commissionerate Kanpur organised the rally to spread the message of patriotism, national unity and integrity among the people. Women police personnel also participated enthusiastically in the bike rally, giving a message of women empowerment along with patriotism.The Tiranga Yatra started from Reserve Police Line and reached Sarsaiya Ghat Chauraha. It concluded after returning to Reserve Police Line.Throughout the route, police personnel waved the tricolour and encouraged people to join the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ drive and hoist the national flag at their homes and establishments.The participants included women police officers and employees from Thana Kotwali, Mahila Thana, Police Line and various police stations, as well as Mission Shakti teams.
