Kanpur: Kanpur received another spell of moderate rain on Friday evening, bringing much-needed relief to residents from the prevailing sultry weather conditions. The showers that began around 7 pm continued for nearly half an hour.The weather turned pleasant as the evening rain brought down the mercury further.While the showers provided relief from high humidity, they also led to waterlogging in many areas.The half-hour spell of rain turned several low-lying areas of the city into pools, causing inconvenience to residents and commuters.
