He said the Prime Minister was instrumental in June 21 being declared as International Yoga Day at the United Nations, which gave recognition not only to Yoga but to the entire Indian medical tradition on the world stage. He said investment in Ayurveda research was increased and such institutions were expanded.Sharma said the state govt ensured accessible medical facilities through the establishment of new Ayurveda hospitals, colleges and dispensaries in recent years.
