Kanpur: District administration on Monday made an appeal to the citizens not to pay attention on rumors’ regarding flood in river Ganga, assuring them that the present situation remains normal. The administration in a communique said that the water level of the Ganga was recorded on Monday morning as 113 meters upstream and 111.480 meters in down stream. While warning level is 114 meters and danger mark is 115 meters is fixed. The water discharge is around 43.66 cusec which is normal.The administration apprised that water level of the Ganga at Shukla Ganj was recorde, which is too below from danger mark. 56,122 cusecs of water is being discharged from Haridwar Barrage and 31,900 cusecs of water is being discharged from Narora Barrage, which indicates normal situation. At present, around 43.666 cusecs of water is being discharge which is normal.
