Mangaluru: Ajit Prabhu Foundation, under Prabhu Family Charitable Trust, along with Gowda Saraswat Brahmins Scholarship League (GSBL), hosted its 10th annual scholarship distribution event Sunday, awarding scholarships to 73 students with a total value of Rs 42 lakh.Initiated by Ajit Prabhu, co-founder and CEO of Quest Global, the scholarship programme supports access to higher education. The foundation has so far empowered more than 400 students through over 900 scholarships and aims to support 1,000 graduates.Students are selected based on their previous exam scores, parental income, performance on a set of questions, and personal interviews.Speaking at the event, Ajit Prabhu said, “Education has the extraordinary power to transform not just an individual, but entire families and communities. This initiative is deeply personal to me; it is my way of paying forward the support I once received. While scholarships open doors, what truly matters is igniting belief. My hope is that these students see this not just as financial aid, but as a powerful reminder that they are capable of achieving far more than they imagine. Our goal is to support 1,000 students, but more importantly, to inspire 1,000 success stories that will create a ripple effect for generations to come.”A key highlight of the event was Prabhu’s direct interaction with the students.
