Rewari: The body of a 40-year-old farmer with head injuries was found lying in a vacant plot near the HPCL plant along the Bhadawas road in Rewari district on Monday evening.Victim Jitender Yadav was a resident of Kamalpur village. A case has been registered, and police have named a suspect in the FIR. However, police refused to disclose details, saying it could hamper the investigation.The police were informed about the body by the locals. The SHO of the Model Town police station, inspector Manoj Kumar, said the accused was on the run.The body will be handed over to Jitender’s family after the autopsy, the police said. Investigators are questioning Jitender’s friends and acquaintances to ascertain the motive for the murder.Sources said the suspect was someone close to Jitender Yadav.
