Chennai: DMK has convened a meeting of the party’s district secretaries on March 16. In a statement, DMK general secretary Duraimurugan has asked all district secretaries and MPs to participate in the meeting. The meeting has been organised in the wake of reports that Election Commission of India could announce the poll dates for TN on March 15 or 16. DMK sources said that they are expecting chief minister M K Stalin to give a roadmap for the campaign strategy to be adopted for the assembly poll. Sources said Stalin was also likely to advise party functionaries on closer coordination with alliance partners during the campaign.
