Hazaribag: DAV Public School, Hazaribag organised a special road safety and traffic awareness campaign for students of Classes XI and XII on Tuesday.During the campaign, traffic department officials briefed the students on safe road practices, compliance with traffic regulations and their role as responsible citizens in ensuring road safety. They urged students to follow prescribed speed limits while driving, use helmets and seat belts compulsorily, and adhere to traffic signals and other road safety regulations.The students took a pledge to follow road safety regulations and create awareness among their family members and others in society about the importance of adhering to traffic rules.School principal Dr Rajneesh Kumar said that creating awareness among students about road safety was a need of the hour. “If the younger generation became vigilant and responsible about traffic rules, it could make a significant contribution towards reducing road accidents,” he added.
