Prayagraj: During its nationwide 40-day campaign, ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’, the Congress party will gherao district collectorates in 28 major cities across the country on Aug 1, followed by a gherao of Parliament on Aug 9, Leader of the Opposition in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Umang Singhar said on Thursday while launching the campaign in Prayagraj.During the campaign, the party will engage with students, competitive exam aspirants, coaching institutes, college campuses, libraries and youth groups with the aim of amplifying the voices of young people whose hard work is repeatedly undermined by paper leaks, exam cancellations, recruitment delays and failures within the examination system. He said that the NEET-UG 2026 incident has once again proved that the country’s examination system is facing a severe crisis of confidence. Paper leaks, exam cancellations, delays in results and chaos in recruitment processes have affected crores of students and their families. He further remarked that while the govt expects students to work hard, it fails to keep even a single question paper secure. “This is not just a paper leak; it is a leak of the future,” he added.
