Once the approval is granted, the recruitment process is expected to begin in July. The vacancies will soon be uploaded on the e-requisition portal developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC). Earlier, the directorate sent a requisition for 23,213 posts to the education service selection commission. However, after seeking fresh certificates from 75 district inspectors of schools, the number of vacancies increased.Officials said the district of Ambedkarnagar had not initially sent verification. The directorate also found discrepancies in the vacancy details submitted by a former DIOS, where an alleged attempt was made to suppress 42 posts in 17 schools. Additional director of secondary education, Kamta Ram Pal said that the requisition would be uploaded on the commission’s portal immediately after receiving approval from the director, paving the way for a major teacher recruitment drive in the state.
