Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday said Congress is firmly standing with the youth of the country and demanded that Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan be removed from the cabinet or Prime Minister Narendra Modi should resign over NEET question paper leak, allegedly being sold for crores of rupees in BJP-ruled states.“This is not a fight between Congress and BJP. It is a battle between the heirs of Mahatma Gandhi and those of Nathuram Godse. PM Modi is playing with the lives of lakhs of students and the country. Remove Narendra Modi from the post of the PM and elect Rahul Gandhi as the next PM. Instead of apologising to the youth for not dropping the Union education minister from the cabinet, Narendra Modi got lathi and tear gas shells used on protesting students,” Revanth alleged at a street corner meeting in the Kodangal assembly constituency, after taking out a protest rally.“Let’s take a vow on BR Ambedkar to defeat Modi and make Rahul Gandhi the PM. Congress along with the youth of the country will fight against Modi. We will not allow the heirs of Godse to win this battle. The fight will continue from ‘sadak to sansad’ until Dharmendra Pradhan or Modiji resigns. NEET paper leak claimed the lives of many students,” Revanth claimed.“Unleashing a brutal attack on the students was unwarranted. Dozens of students, including girls, were injured and their clothes torn. Many of the injured went missing or BJP abducted them,” the CM claimed.CM Revanth also alleged that a company having links with the previous BRS govt was responsible for irregularities in 2019 Intermediate exam results in Telangana. “The same company changed its name and secured contracts by coordinating with the BJP govt in Delhi and KTR too helped this company. Had criminal cases been filed against the KTR-linked company earlier, this situation would not have arisen now,” the CM remarked.Revanth further alleged that PM Modi and Dharmendra Pradhan colluded in earning money through acts such as the NEET question paper leak. Dharmendra Pradhan should be removed from the cabinet. The irregularities in CBSE exam sheets followed by the NEET question paper leak have shattered lakhs of students. The Telangana Congress organised a Chalo Lok Bhavan, which was led by TPCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud, and ministers and important leaders staged dharnas and protest rallies in all district headquarters in the state, demanding the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan, and condemning the detention of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi on Tuesday. Some of the ministers and Congress leaders, including TPCC president Mahesh Goud, were taken into police custody and later released.
