Jhansi: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is likely to arrive in Jhansi for a two-day visit on Saturday evening. He is also expected to participate in the mass yoga event here on International Yoga Day, on Sunday.Divisional Commissioner Bimal Kumar Dubey said that verbal confirmation of the CM’s arrival has been received, though the official itinerary is yet to be finalised by the CM’s office. According to sources, the CM would reach Jhansi on Saturday evening and is expected to unveil newly developed projects worth Rs 1,500 crore here. He may also hold meetings with the police and administrative officials, as well as party workers.On Sunday morning, he may participate in a Yoga event and will leave for Lucknow.Hectic preparations have been started in the city for the CM’s proposed visit. The administrative officials have started finalising the arrangements for the yoga event. Alternative arrangements are also being made in case of rain.
